Upgrade, integrate, and run...
This is my first experience with pfSense, but I have a long track record with adding, replacing, and integrating firewalls and VPNs. This hardware permitted us to double VPN throughput rates at better security levels and integrated seemlessly in about 4 hours thanks to the ease of pfSense software. As far as I am concerned, this is the platform to buy for medium to small businesses. The FW-7551 is the middle of the road variant and had no reviews, but I didn't want to throw more than $1,000 at a solution and this beats Sonicwall and other similarly priced systems hands down in terms of features and response. Our second day of operation and no surprises. I look forward to a reliable 5 year life cycle from a product we can afford to keep a cold spare of.
