Great unit so far
We are using two of these units to implement different vpn connections (site to site, openvpn, ipsec etc.) as well as to control access to and from our networks. So far the devices are performing great! Would recommend it anytime.

It's been a long time I was trying to find a way to replace the existing firewalls we currently have in service. I was struggling to convince colleagues we no longer need to pay huge licencing fees every year to keep our mediocore firewalls up and running. Of course all my open source suggestions were laughed at by other ITs. As the old saying says "he who laughs last laughs best" - now I knew pfsense was out there. When the need for a new firewall raised, instead of adding one more firewall licence to the bill this time I took the initiative and ordered the C2758 before anyone knew what happened. It will be installed directly in production environment with very high LAN throughput demands and complex network setup. The rack cabinet is still being set up and tested in-house. Performance indexes are great in this test environment. I am sure it will do great on-site. I hope I will replace every firewall in service with a C2758 very soon. Absolutely recommended.

Up in 10 minutes
This unit replaced a make-shift, improvised pfSense box. Took the old config file. Replaced the port names. Powered the new unit up. Uploaded the modified config. Worked like a charm. Much improved performance. These guys know their stuff.

Usage and performance are excelent!
We replaced our Microsoft Forefront Thread Management solution with C2758. We have to replaced Services from TMG like vpn access, proxy, reverse proxy, content filtering, port forwarding, routing, vlan's, virus scanning and Firewall services. I have experience on many Firewalls likt cisco, sophos, Microsoft, zyxel and open source firewalls. The C2758 is by far the best open source firewall I have ever seen. For us the C2758 is our new Enterprise Firewall and I'am very happy to use it. Best regards form AUSTRIA (GRAZ).
